Job summary

Ams Osram is seeking a maintenance technician to support its automotive solutions and lamps operations in Warren, NJ. The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and equipment maintenance across production and facility support assets.

You will read schematics and diagrams, install and service equipment, report irregularities, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial electronics within last 5 years.
• Experience with injection molding or metal stamping equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and replace defective components on production, facility, and support equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Install, move, maintain, and service equipment as directed.
• Report equipment, process, or material irregularities to designated personnel.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and equipment maintenance as
  assigned. Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and replace defective components on
  production, facility, and support equipment.

• Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings,
  and hydraulic diagrams.

• Install, move, maintain, and service equipment as directed.

• Report equipment, process, or material irregularities to designated personnel.

• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow company policies at all times.

• Comply with all company, state, and federal safety and environmental
  requirements.

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of 2 years accredited electronics trade school in addition
  to Industrial Maintenance, Fluid Power, Mechanical Technology, or similar
  program or relevant military training.

• At least 2 years experience in the field of industrial electronics within the past 5 years.

• Experience with injection molding and/or metal stamping equipment is preferred but not required.
