Qualifications

  • At least 5 years hands-on experience as an electrical technician.
  • Ability to teach in an evening class and engage students.
  • Credentials listed: journeyman/licensed, NCCER instructor, or related degree.

Responsibilities

  • Build engagement: create an energized classroom with hands-on activities.
  • Lead labs: demonstrate diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Elevate curriculum: update courses to reflect current electrical technology.
  • Coach and mentor: guide student projects and foster critical thinking.
  • Champion safety: enforce safe practices in all activities.
