Job summary

Impact Staffing is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Suwanee, GA to repair and service automated equipment. Candidates should have electronics, electrical, and mechanical repair experience, plus welding, CNC, and PLC familiarity. Military or technical school backgrounds are welcomed.

The role includes diagnosing issues, reading schematics, operating TIG/MIG welders, and maintaining detailed records. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with benefits in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Electronics/electrical repair experience required.
• Mechanical repair experience required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with TIG/MIG welding helpful.
• Familiarity with CNC and PLC systems preferred.
• OSHA safety training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems with automated equipment and machinery.
• Fix electrical wiring and circuit boards.
• Perform mechanical repairs as needed.
• Read schematics and follow wiring diagrams.
• Operate TIG/MIG welding equipment.
• Use CNC machines and PLC systems.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to specifications.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and documentation.
• Work with maintenance team, engineers, and project managers.

$20-$25 per hour /Full time Direct Hire position with benefits!!!

Excellent opportunity for candidates to repair equipment in Suwanee, GA facility. Qualified candidates will have electronics, electrical, and mechanical knowledge/experience. Military experience translates well for these positions! Candidates who have completed technical school program for electronics or industrial maintenance technicians will be considered! Recent engineering graduates looking for a hands-on position are welcome to apply.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and repair problems with automated equipment and machinery
• Fix electrical wiring and circuit boards
• Make mechanical repairs as needed
• Read electrical schematics and follow wiring diagrams
• Work with automated and manual TIG/MIG welding equipment
• Operate CNC machines and PLC systems
• Use forklift equipment safely
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment down to individual components
• Set up equipment for field use and applications
• Ship and receive equipment
• Repair welding equipment (both automated and manual)
• Keep detailed maintenance records and documentation
• Work with maintenance team, engineers, and project managers
• Support field personnel and job site requirements
• Follow OSHA safety procedures
