Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering within manufacturing, focusing on mechanical assembly, box build integration, and PCBA. You will set up, calibrate, and maintain assembly equipment, monitor yields, and provide guidance to line operators in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Responsibilities include programming and configuring SMT, wave, selective soldering, aux tooling, and conformal coating machinery,

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience.
Strong electromechanical assembly and box build knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Thermal profiling of PCBs using reflow, wave, and selective soldering.
Program and configure SMT, wave, selective, thru-hole, press-fit and conformal coating machinery.
Optimize mechanical assembly and box build lines and tooling.
Develop and maintain assembly layouts and material flow.
Perform monthly validation of SMT and mechanical equipment.
Provide technical support and root-cause analysis on defects.
Drive continuous improvement in box build and SMT workflows.
Coordinate with production teams and monitor line stoppages.
Maintain assembly recipes, torque specs, pastes, and fluxes.
Maintain CMMS for preventive maintenance.
