Job summary

Ken's Foods in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep our packaging and process systems running smoothly. You’ll diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment, read electrical schematics, and perform welding, plumbing, and basic carpentry in a climate-controlled facility.

On the third shift, you’ll proactively identify issues, minimize downtime, and ensure product quality. A high school diploma or GED plus 3+ years’ experience is required, with Massachusetts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience or training in industrial maintenance or packaging equipment.
• Proficient reading of electrical schematics for diagnostics.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and motor controls.
• Welding and soldering experience are a plus.
• Ability to perform plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Drug test, background screening and pre-employment assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled and electrical systems.
• Operate, maintain, and repair automated packaging machinery.
• Read schematics to guide diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform welding (gas and arc) and soldering tasks.
• Handle basic plumbing and carpentry work and order parts.
