Position: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Maintenance Lead

Location: Arlington, TX

Shift(s) Available:

1. 6AM-2PM
2. 2PM-10PM

Electromechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including planned and unplanned work on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
• Be on call for emergency repairs during breakdowns.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including computerized check-ups and SPC data analysis.
• Ensure proper function of manufacturing support systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately in CMMS.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Follow safety standards and protocols, including OSHA regulations.
• Assist in inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Identify Critical Control Points (CCP) and adhere to sanitation schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Technical Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with work order systems.
• Welding and machining skills are a plus.
• PLC certification required.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to moving equipment, heat, humidity, noise.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, stooping, sitting.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional typing.

Position Details:

• Full-time, with overtime as needed.
