Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking an Assembler II - Electromechanical Technician for the York, PA area. This role blends workshop assembly with field service duties to meet customer specifications and ensure 100% operation in testing and at start-up.

The position requires hands-on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assembly, plus troubleshooting and testing of machines and automated systems. Competitive benefits accompany a strong team-focused environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical school preferred.
Minimum 3 years related experience.
Ability to read electrical circuits, blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
Experience with 3-phase electrical wiring including motors, motor controls, transformers, PLCs, 1 phase 120Vac and 24Vdc for control circuits.

Responsibilities

Assembles ENGEL machinery to meet customer specifications in York workshop, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assembly.
Performs field service duties at customer sites: installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and part replacements.
Assembles automation machinery, tests equipment, and prepares for shipment.
Completes all forms and reports to support field service activities.
Ensures safety and quality standards in testing and production environments.
