Job summary

Century Aluminum Company in Robards, KY is seeking a Crew Leader for the Electrode department. This exempt role on the Afternoons shift provides leadership, planning, coaching, and supervision to ensure high-quality green anodes meet production needs.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or higher and strong teamwork and communication skills; experience in prebake aluminum reduction is preferred, with basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred, some formal education beyond high school.

Responsibilities

• Learn, accept and live Century Aluminum’s Safety Mission Statement.
• Collaborate with Potlines, Bake Furnace, Rodding and Green Mill to ensure consistent quality of product.
• Develop, document, and update all Standard Work Practices (SWP’s).
• Maintain accurate daily records of production, quality and equipment repairs; manage timekeeping and reports.
