Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking staff to perform electrocardiographic procedures and coordinate the workflow of ECG reports. The role includes general office duties and data logging for departmental statistics and quality improvement.

Responsibilities also include supporting other departments performing ECG procedures and performing basic interrogation of implanted devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders as ordered by a physician.

Qualifications

• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Typing 30 WPM preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with commonly used computer applications.
• Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule and ability to shift priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiographic procedures and coordinate the workflow of reports.
• Perform general office duties.
• Log and compile data for departmental statistics and quality improvement.
• Provide support for other departments performing ECG procedures.
• Perform basic interrogation per physician order for implanted devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders).
