Job summary

CACI is seeking an Engineering Technician to apply technical knowledge to solve problems related to the AIRBORNE Electro-Optical Sensor Systems. The role covers testing, repair, diagnostics, and producing clear documentation for DAS-1, DAS-3, DAS-4, CSP, MX10, MX15, and MX20 in accordance with MSS Lab protocols.

You will collaborate with supervision, assist with lab maintenance and safety, and may guide junior technicians.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience performing diagnostics, parts replacement, software reloading, testing and repair action reporting for Electro-Optic Systems.
  • Experience in reviewing, updating, validating test plans, maintenance procedures and forms.
  • Familiar with OSHA, Hazards (HAZCOM/HAZMAT) and ESD Awareness and Prevention Training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the AIRBORNE Electro-Optical Sensor Systems (DAS-1/3/4, CSP, MX10/15/20); testing, diagnostics, repair, and evaluation.
  • Provide documentation support including modification, validation, and procedure development per MSS Lab protocols.
  • Assist with general lab maintenance, inventory management and organizational tasks.
  • Review technical specifications for procurements and analyze design data for performance and reliability.
