Job summary

Photonics Ops South, A CACI Company, seeks an Integration and Test Engineer to lead electro‑optical system integration, test planning and execution in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on optical, electrical and mechanical system integration and validation.

Responsibilities include developing system test plans, fixtures, performance tests and troubleshooting. Shift flexibility (Second/Third) may be required as per project needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in bring-up of electro-optical systems.
• Experience using VOAs, OSAs, Power Meters, oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of serial, USB, ethernet.
• Understanding of electronic, optical and mechanical systems.
• Self-motivated with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hardware/software and opto-mechanical system integration.
• Develop system-level test plans based on requirements.
• Develop test approaches and fixtures for optical systems.
• Define and execute optical/communication performance tests.
• Prototype module test and debug support.
• Support selection and test of optical, electrical and mechanical components.
• System-level troubleshooting.
• Develop documentation to support troubleshooting efforts.
• Willing to work Second and Third shifts as needed.
