Infiniti Electro-Optics, a division of Ascendent Technology Group, seeks an Embedded Systems and Robotics Assembly Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on the assembly, integration, and production of advanced electro-optical PTZ platforms, requiring precision build of embedded electronics and robotics components.

You will work from schematics and detailed work instructions to assemble sub-assemblies, perform in-process quality checks, test completed units, and troubleshoot

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test advanced electro-optical PTZ systems, performing precise mechanical and electronic assembly of PTZ units, from components to finished, tested products.
• Conduct hands-on integration and testing of electro-optical sensors (visible/NIR, thermal MWIR/LWIR, SWIR) within embedded control platforms.
• Build electronic and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, including cable/wire harnesses, connectorization, board-level assembly, and precision mechanics.
• Work from schematics, drawings, and detailed work instructions.
• Perform in-process quality checks and final assembly verification to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver consistent, repeatable quality across builds and refine assembly processes to scale production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software discrepancies within embedded systems and robotics to maintain peak performance.
