Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a production assembler for a 12-month contract in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on reading blueprints and specifications, operating hand and electrical tools, and maintaining workstation inventory to support fabrication and assembly processes.

The candidate will perform quality checks, document defects, and follow engineering changes while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to established standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Reads, interprets blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Experience with electro-optical and mechanical assemblies preferred.
• Experience in a clean room or engineering/manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Operates hand tools, electrical tools, measuring equipment, and light equipment.
• Maintains inventory of production workstations.
• Performs quality checks and records defects.
• Assembles, reworks, and repairs assemblies per engineering changes.
• Adheres to quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
