Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is recruiting an experienced and motivated Electro-Optics Assembler for our manufacturing team.


$25/hr.-$30/hr. DOE
Full-Time, M-F


Responsibilities - Electro-Optics Assembler



  • Assembly and modification for prototype and custom electronic parts and opto-mechanical systems.

  • Handling, mounting, protecting and cleaning of sensitive optics such as Off Axis Parabola mirrors

  • Soldering components to printed circuit boards and fabricated metal items, as specified by work orders, diagrams or layout.

  • Assembly of routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems.

  • Assembly of mechanical assemblies, which may include but are not limited to: fabricated metal items, electrical wires, circuit boards, mirrors, filters and windows.


Requirements

  • Two to five years of assembly experience.

  • The ability to work full time.
