• Problem solving: Provides solutions to problems in atypical or infrequently occurring situations based on existing precedents or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
• Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems; may perform new system installations.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, layouts or plans to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting.
• Compiles logbooks and test procedures documentation; assists in revising and implementing procedures.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms to documentation and specifications.
• Observes safety standards and maintains a safe work environment; reports hazards and follows PPE requirements.
• Becomes familiar with current manufacturing/engineering processes and assists in correcting problems.
• Performs rework and assists in determining remedies for malfunctions and generates Quality Notifications.
