Job summary

A defense technology provider is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble and test electronic systems. The role requires over 10 years of relevant experience and proficiency in using hand tools and Microsoft Office. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma and have current soldering certifications. The position offers a salary range of $30/hr to $36/hr and an extensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
• Knowledge of ESD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair, and test electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PCBs, cables, box builds.
• Collaborate with engineers for testing and improvements.

Skills

Electro-mechanical assembly

Soldering certification (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Use of hand tools

Familiarity with oscilloscopes and voltmeters

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
