Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our production team. The role involves assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems on machinery and production lines.

Wages start at $35 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus. Most opportunities are on 2nd and 3rd shift, with a stable 40-hour schedule and overtime potential.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field.
2+ years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics/pneumatics.
Ability to read schematics and interpret technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components per drawings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues in equipment.
Perform routine maintenance to keep systems safe and efficient.
Document repairs and calibrations in maintenance logs.
Support new equipment installation and modifications with other teams.
