Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food-manufacturing facility in Warren, OH. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance and the ability to read schematics and diagnose PLC-controlled systems.

Shifts are 12 hours on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with day and night options and a night premium. On-site work with safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools; PLC troubleshooting required; PLC programming is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and ladder logic.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
