Position Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for troubleshooting and performing preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling equipment at the Beech Island, SC site. This role involves a rotating shift schedule, working Sunday through Saturday, with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, including potential overtime.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $28 - $33.50 per hour. Final compensation depends on experience, education, location, and skills.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustments, and lubrication.
• Conduct preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Use electrical testing tools to troubleshoot circuitry.
• Manage work orders and log maintenance activities accurately.
• Resolve semi-complex issues effectively.
• Manage spare parts inventory for maintenance needs.
• Ensure equipment testing and compliance with specifications.
• Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Identify and resolve problems proactively to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain positive working relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy environments, and varying temperatures.
• Stand/walk for 10-12 hours; flexibility for shifts and holidays.
