Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 at the Fairburn, GA site to handle daily troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on storage retrieval machines, conveyors, and automated equipment.

The role requires 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with irregular shifts. Overtime may be required; strong documentation and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training advantageous.
• 2-3 years exp. in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Google Suite helpful.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, adjustments, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using test equipment and diagnose faults.
• Build and close work orders in asset management system with accurate labor/hours and parts used.
• Identify and address problems; supervise parts from inventory as needed.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
• Ensure safety and quality while working in diverse conditions.

An associate's degree or vocational technical training is advantageous. Niche skill training/certification preferred.* 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.* Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.* Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.* Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.* Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.* Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.* Ability to work in diverse conditions: small spaces, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise, vibration, standing long hours on concrete, wet or uneven surfaces.* Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.* Competent in - MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google G-Suite.* Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
