Job summary

Battelle is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician at our West Jefferson, Ohio campus. In this role you will conduct advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics and system knowledge, working with engineers to support development, maintenance, and enhancement of specialized systems while meeting schedules.

You will also provide oversight, guidance, and training to junior staff in diagnostics, mechanical and electrical assembly, contributing to team capability and project success

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly tasks, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical skills relevant to assembly and diagnostic work.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to schedule monitoring and resource planning.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician. This position is located at our West Jefferson, Ohio campus.

In this role, you will conduct advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics, diagrams, and comprehensive system knowledge. You will work both independently and collaboratively with engineers to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of specialized systems while ensuring defined schedules are met.

This position also carries a leadership component, as you will provide oversight, guidance, and training to junior personnel to build capability across the team in the areas of diagnostics, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.

Key Qualifications

Compensation Data

Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $45,600 – $63,800 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
