Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician in Tucker, GA for an 8-month temp assignment. You will support laboratory testing and certification activities for electrical distribution products, perform standardized testing, document results, maintain test equipment, and help ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with circuit breakers; proficiency with oscilloscopes and multi-meters, and basic PC skills for

What You'll Do

• Perform standardized electrical testing in accordance with certification and laboratory procedures, including temperature, short-circuit, mechanical endurance, electrical endurance, and environmental testing.
• Document test procedures, results, observations, and product performance in detailed and accurate test reports.
• Support testing and evaluation of electrical distribution equipment, circuit breakers, and control devices.
• Maintain, calibrate, and assist with upgrades of laboratory test equipment and testing systems.
• Cross-train in multiple laboratory functions while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with or testing circuit breakers.

What Sets You Apart

• Associate Degree in Electrical.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
• PC skills, to include basic programming skills.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• ISO 9001, 17025 documentation requirements.
• Experience with circuit breakers and wiring from residential size (15A) through industrial size (up to 6000A).
• 3+ years of experience in the electrical field.
• Labview programming.
• PLC programming Simatic and LOGO.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Experience using thermocouples.
• Analytical thinking combined with conceptual and organizational abilities.
• Team oriented personality who has the ability to work well by themselves or on a team in an international environment.
• Proactive at executing daily tasks and achieving long-term goals.
• Passionate commitment to the company vision.
