Job summary

Packaging Personified, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems on production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and support equipment upgrades in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, reliability, and uptime, applying your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems daily.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in mechanical maintenance, repair and installation in manufacturing.
  • Electrical maintenance including 480V 3-phase motors, VFDs and controls.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, motor drivers, controls and PLC I/Os; troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems including motors, PLCs, sensors, conveyors and control panels.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities, parts usage and reports.
  • Adhere to OSHA, GMP and food safety regulations and collaborate with production teams.
  • Assist with calibration and testing of equipment as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair essential machinery and equipment. With a keen eye for detail and strong technical knowledge, you’ll proactively ensure operational efficiency and reliability. Your hands‑on experience and problem‑solving skills will be instrumental in keeping systems running smoothly, minimizing downtime, and optimizing performance.   • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems including motors, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and control panels

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment

  • Uphold all OSHA regulations, GMP's and food safety regulations

  • Collaborate with production teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements

  • Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and technical reports

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to work alongside clients, customers, co‑workers and supervisors

  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the manager and/or designee

  • Assist with calibration and testing of equipment as needed


What You Bring


  • 3+ years' experience and mechanical maintenance, repair and installation in a manufacturing environment required

  • Strong ability in all areas of electrical maintenance, including 480v 3-phase motors, variable frequency drives and controls is required

  • Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, motor drivers, controls and PLC inputs and outputs; trouble shooting skills

  • Certification in industrial maintenance or electromechanics, welding and fabrication experience

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; understanding root cause, impact on production and preventing down time in the future

  • A drive to succeed with a self‑starter approach and a can‑do attitude

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. To ensure safety, all employees are required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, including but not limited to gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, ear protection, and other protection when applicable.
