Job summary

Magnum Venus Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, systems, and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of maintenance/installation experience.
  • GED or High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, systems, and equipment.
  • Identifies root causes of equipment failures.
  • Conducts basic diagnosis for electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Inspects systems and equipment to ensure standards and efficiency.
  • Finds and repairs potential safety hazards.
  • Understands 110–480 volt systems; high voltage experience preferred.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electrical components and minor problems.
  • Disassembles/reassembles gearboxes, pumps, valves, and replaces worn parts.
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Troubleshoots PLC systems and installs wiring for power and control.
  • Troubleshoots, installs and repairs AC/DC motors, starters, relays and drives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, systems, and equipment such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and safety systems while identifying root cause of equipment failures. You will also troubleshoot PLC systems and other controls systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, systems, and equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety system
  • Identifies the root cause of equipment failures
  • Performs basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issues
  • Conducts physical inspections regularly checking systems and equipment to ensure they are up to standards and running efficiently
  • Finding and repairing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Must have an understanding and experience in all phases of 110-480 volt system with higher voltage experience preferred.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components and detect minor equipment problems and correct them before they become major issues.
  • Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control.
  • Troubleshoot, install and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays and drives.
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills And Abilities
  • Experience operating different types of powered Industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and mills
  • Forklift certified a plus
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of maintenance / installation experience
  • GED or High school Equivalent
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to think critically, analyze problems and come up with effective and efficient solutions is crucial.
  • Frequently lifting to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, bend, twist, and reach.
  • Frequently work at heights greater than 20 feet from aerial work platform.
Physical Demands
  • Wear and use the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and the assigned uniform correctly while on duty.
  • Meet all required attendance standards and expectations.
