Job summary

Battelle is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician at our West Jefferson, Ohio campus. You will perform advanced diagnostic analysis of complex products using schematics and system knowledge, working with engineers to support development and maintenance of specialized systems.

You will also provide oversight and training to junior staff, guiding diagnostics, mechanical and electrical assembly, and contributing to continuous improvement while meeting defined schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly tasks or equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical skills relevant to assembly and diagnostic work.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to schedule monitoring and resource planning.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician . This position is located at our West Jefferson, Ohio campus.

In this role, you will conduct advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics, diagrams, and comprehensive system knowledge. You will work both independently and collaboratively with engineers to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of specialized systems while ensuring defined schedules are met.

This position also carries a leadership component, as you will provide oversight, guidance, and training to junior personnel to build capability across the team in the areas of diagnostics, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.

Key Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly tasks, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; a technical degree may be required
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical skills relevant to assembly and diagnostic work
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple concurrent tasks
• Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to schedule monitoring and resource planning

Compensation Data

Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $45,600 - $63,800 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
