Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automated production and packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with high-speed automated equipment, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent electro-mechanical experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automated manufacturing or packaging equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting high-speed automation and packaging systems preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing Pneumatic control systems, Allen-Bradley PLC systems, RSLinx software, process control instrumentation, three-phase (480V) electrical systems, motor starters and controls, electronic circuit boards.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle complex manufacturing and support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, and motors on high-speed packaging lines.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and proactive equipment inspections to maximize reliability and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic control systems, mechanical drive systems, Allen-Bradley PLC systems, RSLinx software, process instrumentation, three-phase electrical systems, motor starters and controls.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, management, and fellow maintenance technicians.
  • Support production goals through technical expertise, training, and coaching of operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Comply with safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, EPA).
  • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and process improvements, and help implement solutions.
  • Assist with maintenance projects and other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
