Job summary

Rain Bird Corporation in Tucson is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade high-speed automated equipment across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. You will design and service control systems for electromechanical devices, robotics, and PLCs, supporting robotic assembly devices, vision systems, conveyors, and building automation.

The role requires a S. Degree in Electromechanical Technology, 5+ years of experience, PLC proficiency, and strong

Qualifications

S. Degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Understanding of drawings and schematics (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic).
Proficient in PLC troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of industry Safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install and upgrade high-speed automated equipment and related systems in the Tucson facility.
Design and service control systems ranging from electromechanical devices to high-speed robotics and PLCs.
Work with robotic assemblies, vision systems, conveyors, electrical distribution, and building automation systems.
