Medifast, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician I to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment in Owings Mills, MD.

The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, changeovers, and spare parts management in a GMP environment. You will troubleshoot on high-speed packaging lines, interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and document activities in CMMS while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of GMP/EHS/quality regulations.
• Familiarity with CMMS and basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot on blending and high-speed packaging lines including conveyors, robots, HMIs, and related equipment.
• Execute and document preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Assist in SOPs or Work Instructions development.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders and spare parts used.
• Perform equipment changeovers on designated lines.
• Ensure food safety, product quality, and EHS guidelines are followed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and small project support for new equipment.
• Record and share MES and Daily Accountability Board metrics.
