Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 responsible for day-to-day upkeep of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) in a Brighton, CO facility. The role requires knowledge of navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, encoders, hydraulics and HMI/GDU devices.

Overtime and some weekend work may be required. Responsibilities include fault resolution, preventive maintenance, and documentation in the asset management system.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or vocational training preferred.
  • Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Strong Electrical/ Electronic competency preferred.
  • Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operation, fault recovery/repair and maintenance of Automation Machinery, including Logical trouble shooting, adjusting and replacement of Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical components.
  • Operate and manipulate HMI/GDU devices and be competent with Computers and programs such as, Excel, Word, G-Suite.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, Cleaning, Lubricating and as well as documentation of the completion of the procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
  • Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
  • Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
  • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

Position Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Knowledge of Computer Aided Navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, Encoder, and Hydraulics is required. Acts as a Fault Identification, resolution as well as Maintenance and Repair technician on all equipment. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Shift Schedule

Wednesday- Saturday 10am to 8pm located in Brighton Colorado.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $28.40 - $38.43 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Duties

Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to work at heights above 30 feet and climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
Work Conditions
  • Small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
