Job summary

Still Sverige Ab is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 for the Memphis, TN DHL/Nike location. The role focuses on day-shift troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

The position operates on a Panama 2-2-3 schedule, 5 am to 5 pm. Essential duties include belt tracking, component maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and close documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/vocational training preferred.
• 2-3 years troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; regular bending, lifting, and reaching for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.

Job description

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Acts as a material handling maintenance technician on all equipment that is installed at the DHL/Nike location in Memphis, TN. The position is for day shift working 5 am to 5pm Panama 2-2-3 schedule.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 28.00 to $ 33.50 an hour at the time of posting.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders into an asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

What We Are Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an associate degree or vocational technical training is preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
• 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
• Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
• Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
