Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 in Brighton, Colorado, for day-to-day upkeep of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). You will troubleshoot and repair automation machinery, operate HMI/GDU devices, and perform preventative maintenance with documentation.

Flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work is required, with a Wed–Sat shift 10am–8pm. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, plus 1–2 years in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and strong

Responsibilities

• Perform operation, fault recovery/repair and maintenance of Automation Machinery, including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Operate HMI/GDU devices and use Excel, Word, and G-Suite.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify resources needed.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment faults.
• Develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of Computer Aided Navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, Encoder, and Hydraulics is required. Acts as a Fault Identification, resolution as well as Maintenance and Repair technician on all equipment. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.*# **Tasks and Qualifications:****What You Will Do In This Role** * Perform operation, fault recovery/repair and maintenance of Automation Machinery, including Logical trouble shooting, adjusting and replacement of Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical components.* Operate and manipulate HMI/GDU devices and be competent with Computers and programs such as, Excel, Word, G-Suite.* Complete preventative maintenance routines, Cleaning, Lubricating and as well as documentation of the completion of the procedures.* Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.* Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.* Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.* Locate and track spare parts from inventory.* Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.* Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults* Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.* Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.* Other responsibilities as assigned **What We Are Looking For** * High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an associate degree or vocational technical training is preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.* 1-2 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.* Strong Electrical/ Electronic competency preferred* Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.* Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.* Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.* Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.* Able to work at heights above 30 feet and climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.* Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.* Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours.* Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
