Job summary

Dawar Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer – Electro-Mechanical in Tucson, AZ for a long-term contract. The role focuses on design, test, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems in a regulated environment, with a pay rate of $50/hr on W2 DOE.

You will develop test methods, perform data analysis in Python, and contribute to product development and manufacturing support. Bachelor-level engineering and 4+ years in related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience in electro-mechanical devices, testing or product development.
• Experience in FDA- or FAA-regulated environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong testing, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Python coding and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems and devices.
• Develop test methods, test beds, testing plans, and hands-on testing protocols.
• Conduct DOE, sensor testing, digital output analysis, and system performance evaluation.
• Analyze test data using Python and other analytical tools.
• Participate in design reviews, reliability testing, and system integration activities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document defects, track the defect lifecycle, and communicate findings to development partners.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and engineering documentation.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and engineering solutions.
