Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Supply Line Engineer to support electro-mechanical assemblies used in advanced test systems. You will ensure suppliers meet technical, quality, cost, schedule and manufacturability requirements from NPI through lifecycle.

You will partner with design and manufacturing teams to influence architecture, qualify suppliers, and drive corrective actions to improve yield and process maturity. Domestic/international travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 5–8 years in supplier/engineering roles.
Strong understanding of electro-mechanical design intent, interfaces, and testing.
Experience with supplier qualification, first article inspection, and PFMEA.
Ability to translate design intent into supplier requirements and controls.
Excellent communication across engineering, operations, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Influence architecture and supplier selection early with design teams.
Translate drawings and BOMs into supplier deliverables, plans, and acceptance criteria.
Qualify suppliers via design-for-manufacturability reviews and audits.
Develop suppliers for electro-mechanical assemblies and related subassemblies.
Collaborate across functions to identify risk, resolve issues, and improve yield.
Support lifecycle readiness with vendor alignment and continuity planning.
