Universal Robots (via Teradyne Robotics) invites you to join our production team at the Universal Robots manufacturing site in Wixom, MI. You will assemble robotic systems, install components, and perform testing to ensure quality for customers worldwide.

We value quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing or assembly, familiar with mechanical and electrical parts, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components.
• Ability to build systems and subassemblies according to work instructions.
• Ability to follow work instructions and technical drawings.
• Functional test experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, data entry.
• Technical aptitude and an interest in mechanics and technology.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble robotic systems and subassemblies according to work instructions.
• Install mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform functional testing and product inspections.
• Identify and report quality issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Record production data in the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities.
