The afternoon brings planned PMs and a project retrofit, capped by a quick pipefit to tie in a new process line. Throughout the day, you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with operators and fellow mechanics, keeping the plant moving.What you’ll ownExecute electrical and mechanical maintenance across industrial manufacturing equipment to keep uptime high.Troubleshoot using blueprints/schematics, meters, circuit tracing, and motor wiring practices on systems up to 480V.Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, vacuum pumps, bearings, and shafts.Complete preventive maintenance (PMs), project work, line calls, and urgent breakdown repairs.Partner with operators and other mechanics to support production and resolve issues quickly.What you bringHands-on experience as a multi-craft maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing environment.Strong electro-mechanical diagnostics with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Proficiency working on 480V electrical systems, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and vacuum systems.Demonstrated pipefitting skills.Self-directed, fast-paced troubleshooting mindset with the ability to respond rapidly to equipment downtime.If solving complex equipment challenges energizes you, this role puts you at the center of plant reliability in West Lawn, IL.
