Ecore is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Reliability Specialist to join our York, PA team.
Job Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Reliability Specialist leads troubleshooting, diagnosing, and improving production equipment. Responsibilities include managing projects across facilities, utilizing extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment installation and maintenance, and promoting safety policies. Additional duties involve training, documentation, and cross-training.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and develop failure mitigation plans.
- Repair and upgrade electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery using precision tools.
- Develop and execute Preventative/Predictive Maintenance projects.
- Manage projects from research to installation, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and upgrade equipment.
- Install conduit, wiring, piping, and systems with minimal supervision.
- Read blueprints and schematics; draw sketches for design clarification.
- Perform maintenance on power distribution systems.
- Assemble circuitry and troubleshoot electronic controls.
- Conduct performance tests on equipment.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement projects like FMEA and root cause analysis.
- Prioritize and report high-risk issues affecting reliability.
- Coordinate with other facilities to maintain best practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; 5+ years industrial Electro-mechanical experience.
- 7+ years in maintenance, with skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proven analytical and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, 6S, and troubleshooting PLC controls.
- Electrical skills including circuit troubleshooting, motor controls, and VFDs.
- Ability to read schematics and drawings; experience with upgrades and control systems.
- Welding and fabrication knowledge.
- Teamwork and communication skills; computer proficiency.
- Valid PA driver’s license; ability to travel 15%.
