Job summary

Space Age Electronics Inc. is seeking an Electro-mechanical Panel Assembler to build and test Graphic Annunciator Panels and subassemblies. You will follow drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure accurate assembly and documentation of results.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to ESD and safety procedures. Responsibilities include wiring, soldering, harness preparation, and in-process/final inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, electronics preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and standard processes.
• Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately (rulers/calipers).
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and leadership.
• Compliance with ESD, safety, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Graphic Annunciator Panels and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures.
• Perform wiring, cable preparation, connector installation, and soldering as specified.
• Read work orders, BOMs, assembly drawings, and written instructions.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections and document results.
• Operate basic test equipment and record data.
• Identify nonconforming material and communicate issues to supervisor/quality team.
• Maintain organized workstation and accurate production records.
