Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.

You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read schematics and ladder logic, and support start-up projects on 1st-3rd shifts. Welding, fabrication, and PLC/VFD programming are part of the role, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, transformers, and other control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and other plant utilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for production equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist operators and maintenance team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.
