Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Tech

Reports To: Maintenance Lead

Department: Maintenance

Shift: Nights

Summary of Job

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and following all OSHA and facility-specific protocols (including LOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
2. Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
3. Respond to emergency repairs as needed.
4. Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
5. Perform preventative maintenance, including computerized check-ups and SPC data analysis.
6. Ensure proper function of manufacturing support systems.
7. Complete and document work orders accurately in CMMS.
8. Communicate effectively with other departments and management about issues affecting production.
9. Maintain accurate documentation following SOPs.
10. Assist in managing parts and supplies inventory.
11. Keep work areas clean, sanitary, and safe.
12. Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
13. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols set by OSHA and Pregis.
14. Perform related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and adhere to safety practices.

• Responsibility for personal and team safety, including hazard correction.

Environment

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment required.

Physical Characteristics

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional typing or keyboarding.
