Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and plant systems. This role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, and supports installations, upgrades, and start-up projects.

Shifts may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read electrical schematics and ladder logic, and work with PLCs, VFDs,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with automation and control systems preferred.
• Safe-use of maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, and transformers.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for equipment.
• Complete scheduled PM and document maintenance activities.
• Assist operators and team with troubleshooting.
