Job summary

Novolex is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanic to join our Corsicana facility. The role focuses on front-line troubleshooting and comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently.

Candidate should have 2-year Industrial Electrical training or equivalent experience, with ability to read schematics, operate forklifts, and perform welding as needed. Independent work style and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year Industrial Electrical Degree or 1-2 years' equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
• Able to operate forklift and high-lift equipment; welding experience desired.
• High degree of mechanical ability; troubleshoot electro‑mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor electrical repairs, including 480V 3-phase motor repairs/installation and VFD drives.
• Read schematics and PI&D drawings; identify electrical symbols and read basic data.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment across the plant with emphasis on electrical problems.
• Perform mechanical maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics; lubricate and adjust equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, and chains; read mechanical prints.
