Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical production equipment in our facility.

The role requires diagnosing faults, repairing components, and supporting start-up projects. The ideal candidate has strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs/VFDs, and the ability to work overtime as needed on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, and transformers.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for industrial production equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist production operators and other Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.
