Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The role supports installation, upgrades, and start-up projects with potential for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

You will read schematics, program PLCs, and work with robotics and automation systems while performing welding and fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; assist with installations and upgrades.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities.
