Job summary

Lactalis American Group is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Student Intern in Belmont, Wisconsin. The role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining production and packaging equipment in a clean, sanitary dairy plant environment.

Weekend availability is required. The ideal candidate is a current Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technology student with interest in hands-on learning, able to read blueprints, and capable of teamwork or independent work.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams or technical orders.

Responsibilities

• Repair or maintain equipment used in production and packaging of a dairy product.
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctions with voltmeters or testing devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, replacements.
