Job summary

Tape Industrial Sales is seeking an Electro Mechanical Field Service Technician to provide repair and preventive maintenance on customer equipment at various locations. Strong computer/electronics knowledge is required for troubleshooting and basic programming.

Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, documenting work, preparing equipment for shipping, and rebuilding used equipment for resale. Travel up to 25% and participation in product training are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Minimum 1 year experience in skilled trades.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
• Experience with electrical diagnostic tools and power tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and service customer equipment by diagnosing problems.
• Enter work documented in the computer system.
• Prepare repaired/serviced equipment for shipping.
• Rebuild used equipment for resale.
• Maintain and test demonstration equipment.
• Assist in product training and demonstrations.
• Support safety and lab housekeeping.
