Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Electro-Mechanical and Instrumentation Engineering team in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on lab-based product development, prototype assembly, test execution, diagnostics, and documentation for electro-mechanical systems.

You will work with engineers to test, assemble, and modify prototypes, document results, and troubleshoot controls-related issues. Travel between Chaska and Bloomington is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma or military training with hands-on electrical/electro-mechanical experience.
• Experience in an engineering lab or product development environment with testing and maintenance.
• Ability to wire, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems from schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering lab testing on electro-mechanical assemblies and prototype equipment.
• Document test setups, observations, data and results clearly using approved systems.
• Assemble, wire, modify, and troubleshoot prototype electro-mechanical assemblies and harnesses.
• Perform electrical diagnostics with meters, oscilloscopes and data acquisition tools.
• Support investigations by identifying abnormal conditions and communicating findings to engineers.
• Operate lab equipment and software for testing, data collection and performance evaluation.
