Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in PCB fabrication, assembly, and product development.

This role supports the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of electronic products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PCB design principles, fabrication processes, and engineering best practices, and will

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3+ years in electronic product development or PCB manufacturing.
• Experience with PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and manufacturing of electronic and electromechanical systems from concept through production.
• Support PCB fabrication processes, including material selection, stack-up design, panelization, and DFM reviews.
• Assist NPI activities and transition designs to production.
• Troubleshoot PCB assemblies, electronic systems, and manufacturing issues to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and supply chain to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work with Electronic Technicians reviewing First Pass Yield data for problem investigation and root cause analysis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
