Job summary

Actalent is seeking engineers to design, integrate, and validate powered drive wheel assemblies and related electromechanical systems from concept through production launch.

You will build and troubleshoot prototypes, develop test fixtures, evaluate performance and durability, and support suppliers and ramp-up initiatives for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and SolidWorks design capability required.
• Reading and creation of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics expected.
• Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting prototypes required.

Job description

Design, integrate, and validate powered drive wheel assemblies and related electromechanical systems throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept and CAD design through prototyping, testing, and production launch. Build and troubleshoot prototypes, develop test fixtures, evaluate system performance and durability, and support component suppliers and new product ramp-up.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree, SolidWorks design capability, and strong mechanical engineering fundamentals are required. Candidates should be able to read and create mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, perform engineering calculations, and have hands-on experience building and troubleshooting prototypes.
