Job summary

Husky Technologies TM in Milton, VT seeks an Assembly Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to assemble, wire and test hot runner controllers for industry-leading injection molding systems. You will work from schematics and drawings, following procedures to ensure safety, quality and workmanship.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, using hand tools and test equipment, with a focus on building complex equipment in a clean, controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and basic assembly equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of basic electrical principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to identify, read and verify small labels, markings and wiring details.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proficient in English (basic to technical).
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings to assemble and wire controllers.
• Perform wiring, installation and assembly of controllers.
• Test electrical and functional operation of completed systems.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect assemblies, wiring, labels and components for quality.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Communicate concerns to team and supervisors.
• Collaborate with team to meet production and delivery goals.
