Job summary

MPE Manufacturing is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Build Technician for its medical carts division in Milwaukee. You will perform electrical and mechanical assembly in a climate-controlled cleanroom, solder wiring, and conduct tests per detailed work instructions.

The role emphasizes precise workmanship, adherence to ESD/ISO standards, and strong troubleshooting. Growth opportunities include formal certifications and internal advancement paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in electrical assembly.
• Read/interpret mechanical drawings; proficient with hand and power tools.
• Conduct quality checks according to work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Electrical assembly and sub-assembly of medical device applications.
• Soldering, wiring, and electrical testing per work instructions.
• Mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly on an assembly line as workload requires.
• Verification of parts and peer work to quality standards.
• Maintain 6S standards and consistent housekeeping.
• Root-cause and on-the-spot troubleshooting for equipment and build issues.
